At least one of the papers was saying something along the lines of that if you cant get enough supporters in the stadium its yet another loss maker for the clubs because of the additional costs involved - Stewards / Police / Ambulance / Concessions / etc etc so it would seem that to some extent having 2000 or 4000 in stadiums is actually worse for the clubs
(financially) than having none at all

I believe Tranmere have raised this point.

On 'TalkSport', Simon Jordan has asserted that instead of a set-figure permitted in stadia based on 'Tier' level there should have been a % of Stadium capacity.

It's just a start as to how to we get to that point.

The biggest issue is how people get too and from the ground.

Personally, I'd allow the boxes to be auctioned off, then allow in 3,000 season ticket holders with post codes closest to the ground and 1,000 to the HF (if there are that many?)

Whilst grounds are pretty much empty, I still don't see why tickets can't be given to organised groups of local school kids. They are already in a bubble and normally priced out. Where's the harm?

When the Tiers are announced by Boris, Palace will be lucky if they are allowed a 2,000 limit.
But there is a strong possibility we won't be allowed any fans to attend at all.

It will be like watching a Tuesday night first round match in the League Cup when we were in the Championship. I had my mates box on my own for one of these about 10 years ago. Took the missus and she sat inside and watched Eastenders on the TV!

It’s a no from me until normality resumes.

More class and sophistication on the telly than on the pitch lol.

No.
According to our chairman there will be a ballot of ST holders and the club will ensure that those ST holders not chosen for the first game will be in a ballot for the next one etc. I think he mentioned there were 12000 who had renewed their STs so at a limit of 4000 per game, ST holders will get the option to see 1 in 3.

How would that work with family? All get a ticket or only 1?

I beleive the whole bubble or household will be counted as the amount. So all in the draw and one out of the hat all in the ground. Then out of the next draw until all ST holders have had a game, then all over again.
But logic and footy dont sit well !
