Melting Pot was prophetic by Blue Mink back in 1969.

Not surprised, based on recent events, they never did a collaboration with Jamie Cullen.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

If I remember correctly mink were imported here from the United States, and became an invasive species after some escaped.

They caused havoc mainly in East Anglia and are still being trapped today.

Can't think of a single thing in their favour, I thought mink coats went out years ago on grounds of cost and animal rights etc.

Fancy Denmark the 'happiest country in the world' will not be so happy clearing up this mess.

It was the animal rights groups that broke into the mink farms here in the UK (pre 2000) and releasing them that led to a breeding population burst of wild mink in the countryside and particular our canals and rivers. Being non native they cause havoc and kill our otters as well. They have been known to kill cats as they have no fear. As a boater I am glad that they are slowly being removed by the Canal and River Trust by trapping. Why anyone would want to wear one of these things is beyond me but again the same thing could be said of fox fur.

Red and Blue though and through (more than 50 years)
