With the inevitable soon to happen to Roy either by sacking or he leaves, I think this will be Roy’s last season and hopefully the board have a list of candidates at the ready for his successor.

If Sheffield were to get rid of wilder would you consider him a good choice here at palace.

I know Sheffield aren’t doing great this season but you can’t fully blame Wilder for this, with them losing key players from last season especially. He got them from league 1 to a top half finish in the Prem last season and if he had a squad of our quality I doubt Sheffield would be in this position.

I think I remember hearing on here that Sam Allardyce even suggested that wilder was his successor, so at least we know he has big Sams backing.

I would...but begrudgingly.
Any change at this point is needed I reckon.

It's a funny old world we live in when being asked whether a manager that has just been able to spend £23m on a ( yet to score ) striker, and has a record of 1 draw and 9 defeats in 10 games, should come in at the expense of a manager that has 13 points - the same number as Arsenal at this time.

Aren’t Sheff Utd missing chances galore these days?

All there games have been pretty close, and our squad is much better than theirs.

I think he, and a number of other managers would be able to keep us up comfortably.

Since the start of the calendar year, they've picked up 3 less points than us.

No.

He has done well for Sheffield United but under a very different set of circumstances.

Can't see any case for how he'd improve things for us as my initial reaction.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No, not for me. I don't see him as a manager who can move Palace forward, but thanks to the OP for the suggestion. At least it makes a change from 'Roy out' without giving a realistic alternative.

Come the day when Hodgson departs, don't be surprised if his successor is a left-field appointment taking everyone by surprise.

A good manager. How's he handling the pressure though? All part of the job and there's always pressure here too.
Roy doesn't bother getting into media spats - Wilder has, and it's not helped.
I still think they can stay up - which is slightly worrying for us if we continue this poor run.

No from me. He was found out. He lost one main player in O’Connell and his team and tactics fell apart. Roy has kept us going injury lists that have been massive.
