And did everyone involved in the match do this before every game?

God I hope so.

I personally don't wear a poppy, but have no issue with those who do and respect the opinion of those who see it as an important political message.

Why do you treat taking a knee in a different way? It has nothing to do with Marxism or vuolence. It's the players deciding that for 5 seconds they want to remind people of an issue. Why feel the need to potentially insult wilf, kouyate etc by booing?

Jeez, i served my country for the likes of you.

The 'Poppy' is not & never has been a political message, it is a symbol of a destructive war & a remembrance of all the people that died.

Taking the knee as you call it, has EVERYTHING to do with Marxism its all about BLM.

What about this?

Is that happening every match? Nope. Only happens once a year.

Not the same.

Are they making a political statement? I don't really think they are....isn't it about raising money.

I doubt many, if any, at Palace will boo. But they have a right to. It isn't racist to not support taking the knee. But, of course, the FA are investigating 'crowd incidents' at Millwall and Colchester as the fans haven't stayed 'on message'. I'm off to polish my medallion and get my chest hair dyed.
The players can take adulation but can't take any criticism. What are they - f@cking babies? How many times does it need to be spelled out, BLM is not relevant to the fans or the footballers anymore, no matter how much they want to cry wolf all the time. It's the political equivalent of rolling around holding your face, when someone lightly touched your sleeve in the box.
It has been so long since I've seen racism at football that I nearly would be harking back to the 70s,particularly from our fans. That's how irrelevant this is.

So you can understand and see as valid people who see the poppy differently from you.

But you can't understand and see as valid people who see BLM political gestures differently from you.

Mmmm...kind of convenient isn't it.

If it was about Marxism they'd all be wearing hammers and sickles ffs! Do you really think kids on millions a year would be promoting something if they thought it was about the abolition of private property? They've all got about 6 houses!

They do it to highlight racial injustice. It takes up 5 seconds of your time before you then get to watch the team you love for 90 minutes. Seriously if you think that's such a massive infringement on your freedoms then you live in a fantasy.

Again, no. I can understand why you don't agree with taking the knee. What I don't accept is being so self-centred as to boo as if even having to watch it for 5 seconds was an insult to your human rights. This is an issue for black people, which mostly black footballers are raising. Having thousands of white people booing rather than listening says a lot really.

Apparently if you are promoting issues involved with cultural Marxism you're always wearing hammers and sickles.

Mmmmm...apparently this isn't a requirement when they talk about opposite ideologies they don't like themselves.

Oh yes, the streets of Britain are just awash with racial injustice.
Even if they were, taking a knee won't fix it and would be far more likely to inflame it.

Black lives matter is a stupid choice of slogan and just happens to also be the name of a Marxist organisation.

Hmmm! What should we do?
