You cant just tell people that it's not associated with BLM/Anti-FA because it is. The swastika was a symbol of good luck - but I don't think I could take a "good luck" flag into selhurst and claim it has no political reference. Whilst some racists are using anti-marxism lines to cover their hate. Their are a lot of people who simply don't like BLM and Anti-FA because they aren't doing anything to help lower the murder rate of young black people. If you make a gesture associated with them, others then have the right to reply both positively and negatively. A number of prominent BLM activists in the US are now asking the same question. Last year BLM got $90m in donations but what are they doing for their community?

I have come to realise that it is a complete waste of time trying to reason with people who have lost any capacity for objectivity. There are clearly many reasons why the whole knee bending nonsense is so so wrong, but you will never convince the indoctrinated or those that feel some hugely disproportional sense of victimhood. It might be time for to completely ignore some of the idiots on here who constantly cry racist or deliberately try to fudge or divert from the mess that allowing self serving politics has caused or any of the other issues surrounding the artificial creation of racial issues in 2021.

We have a young team with many players from different backgrounds that are subject to streams of racist abuse constantly. If they want to make a stand against it they have my full support.
