The 'proud boy' point exposures the FAs and your whole position for the 'it is because I say it is' nonsense and double standard. That's why you avoided it. As for you point about the FA....both QPR and Coventry showed that basically the vast majority of footballers will do what their employers tell them to do. The idea that a footballer or official out there who doesn't agree with kneeling would be fine if they ignored kneeling and stood while the rest of their side knelt is ridiculous. They would be attacked by all the usual suspects and probably think they just don't need it.

Brilliant. Before social media was available to androgynous males, all you’d know about players via matchday programmes, was there favourite music and food. They aren’t political commentators or ambassadors. They’ve been paid to play football since and during school.

They are seen by millions and millions of people all over the world. They are role models who kids aspire to be. Why should they just be pawns for your entertainment just because they happen to be well paid compared to you? I really don't square how some on here are happy with the gesture being booed, yet can happily sit and watch Palace play. We had 7 black players in our starting line up on Sunday. Wilf has published a few times examples of some of the racist abuse he has to put up with. If this is a gesture that our players want to make, surely you should support that? The coach and the director of football at QPR Les Ferdinand came out against kneeling a few weeks back...Really weird then that all of a sudden his players stopped kneeling. No doubt if he had been white he'd have people like you on his back.....Indoctrinated self hating coporate lackeys. I haven't looked into the Coventry situation.
