Has no future st Leicester, Rodgers has said he is free to leave this season.

A good shout for when Wilf departs - wheather it in Jan or the summer.

If DG comes with Mateta Eze Banks etc why would Wilf leave a club he can lead into Europe. Far better than the odd game at a super club

Do me a favour, that's got to be the most embarrassing comment I've read in 2021.

Probably about a couple of years ago, I had a conversation with a chap with regard to Demarai Gray.

He did comment that Gray was very fleet of foot, has a change of pace and direction and can go past opponents. The player runs with the ball and will take players on.

On the downside he said that Gray's end product needed to improve in terms of his crossing and that he needed to add more consistency to his game.

I'm not so sure as what the Meyer transfer should have taught us is that we shouldn't be buying the sort of player that the manager doesn't want

It seems the cheap and logical option due to our lack of cover out wide.

I saw some Leicester fans' criticism lately which was a bit off putting, but the clowns were scathing of 'Sharon' Ambrose b4 he cam to Palace and look what happened. I was at the 2-2 game in 2017 when Gray came on as sub in the second half. I had gained the impression he was a sort of left footed Theeo Walcott (bit of a headless chicken) - I got a different impression seeing him live. One of the first things he did was play a 40 yard cross-field pass with the outside of his foot that went very high in the air before curling down on to the toe of the winger on the other side of the pitch: power, technique and vision all in one. Given the paltry fee it could be a very shrewd punt - I'm warming to the idea - Palace do their best business this way - we ain't big enough for marqee signings.

This is suggesting a move to Germany. A £2m fee is dirt cheap aganst a valuation of £12m. We should be trying to get him, but as has been mentioned,is there any point if Roy doesn't like him? And I have no idea if he does! With his love of ageing players coming to the end of their careers, Gray doesn't seem to fit the bill.
I noticed that Meyer is listed on this site with a value of €3m...

Left wing isn't really a priority

He played mostly on the right wing for Leicester in the 19/20 season and is predominantly right footed. A replacement for Townsend I would imagine. Has serious pace and dribbling skill but his Premier league stats are not great - 10 goals and 9 assists in 133 appearances.

Indeed, and as a result generally wants to get the ball on to his right foot but is not averse to crossing with his left foot.He has taken free kicks over a wall.
