Well past his best, has lost a yard in speed which now makes his tackles look very suspect. Always looks like he will get sent off .

In my opinion he needs to be moved on and replaced.

Luka is an absolute liability and has been all season. He brings nothing to the team whatsoever. His passing is s***e, he is unbelievably slow, he gets at least a yellow every game, he takes set pieces away from better players (Eze scored a stunning fk against Leeds but now can’t get a look in) and worst of all, he’s supposed to be the captain and leader!

It’s not a coincidence that our better performances this season have come when Luka was on the sideline. Admittedly the whole team were terrible today but Luka stood out as one of the worst. If you have to sub your skipper when you’re losing that’s a clear sign he’s not cut out for the job.

Would be interesting to see how bookings per appearances ?

This season he has collected 5 yellows and a red in 14 appearances.

to be honest...i feel sorry for luca.

unless your kante/makalele/petit a dmf’s work is on the whole going to go unheralded.

he gets a lot of bookings, thats part & parcel or that role, most of those bookings are going to be calculated to stop a dangerous attack.

he probably sees the ball more than any other outfield player due to his location on the pitch, especially given our tendancy to recycle possession quite a lot.

personally, i like him, and i would be pretty sure the other players enjoy having his tenacity out there with them.
