We needed a quick signing for the new manager feel good effect. I was hoping someone would be announced alongside Patrick, but this would be a decent signing for us. I'm having trouble believing we could have done anything this quickly though. As an aside, glad we didn't sign Lundstrom. Hoping Viera said 'non, merci'.

Will he be taking Morgan Rogers up there for a rogering?

Only person likely to benefit from a bidding war is Olise. Reading can’t reject any offers over 8m so it’s pretty much down to the player now.

and his agent..

I think we all by now know the drill. Other clubs now alerted to the buy out clause via players agent. Several offers come in and he signs for West Ham

Very pleased about this one. I watched a bit of a Reading on tv last season and he looked too good for them - with Don Goodman commenting on his quality on the ball in the context of Eze at QPR.
I didn’t think he was that good mind you - but he could be a very interesting one to watch develop.

Once there he goes through every one of his suits and gets the new guy to match them up with the most suitable footwear.

Sometimes this takes days and can lead to an interesting outcome - none more public than when Patrick Viera suggested a slim fit suit/white trainer combo.

Rumours are that Favre grew bored after 2 days and there was significant in-fighting between the many members of Nuno's backroom team that made Steve quickly realise he wouldn't be able to work with either manager.

Hope this helps.

Wow you must be in the know!
