I heard on sky that they were at the front of the queue spider, but were being told to go to the back, while the front lorries at manston came in a procession to the front, good publicity for gov,uk. I don"t blame them for having a go at plod for telling them to go to the back of the queue, they want to be home for christmas and if you are in the queue front you deserve to go first.

It's actually in other countries as well,holland, italy spain,Belgium but dont let that get in the way of the stupidest post of 2020.
It's actually mutated in a way not seen with other viruses by all accounts. Better just hope it's not more dangerous then but if it is I'm sure it will be boris's fault. Not the dumb arses who couldnt follow simple instructions.

Macron has Le Pen breathing down his neck with an election next year, If the EU concedes to the UK over fishing rights then he will have another Gilets Jaunes on his hands at the worst possible time.

Macron is clearly getting desperate and this is a pretty weak attempt at forcing Britain to back down over negotiations, in reality all he is doing is punishing the drivers of these trucks and their families - the majority of which are EU members.

Perhaps after Brexit we can build a state of the art import facility in the West or North of the country so all the freight comes in there instead of mindless shuttling backwards and forwards to the continent via Kent? Maybe we could make more use of the rail network and regional distribution hubs instead of long distance lorries? Save the environment, create jobs for ourselves and have more control over what we import from the rest of the world?
