We notice this more because more often than not we are in loosing positions.

Football needs to have a good look at itself going forwards-
In light of more time wasting, simulation and allowing more subs during a match and the ever increasing cost of football that fans have to pay to watch it!

As it has been mentioned before football matches should consist of 30 mins of actual ball in play in each half.
That would totally defeat all the efforts of each team to kick the ball away, prevent kicks and throws being taken and fake injuries especially facial ones that get the game stopped but appear to have caused no contact or damage at all etc.

Simulation (diving, cheating, faking contact etc) should be dealt with by a panel if not seen during a match and cautions issued post match.

Injuries
Football fans deserve better value for money these measures would ensure longer games, allow referees and linespeople to concentrate more on slightly fewer real time issues.
