Ever met one of these girls who treats 90% of men with disdain ? surly, argumentative, unfriendly, dislikeable.... and then she transforms into the smiling bubbly game-show hostess whenever a wealthy fella walks into the room ? sounds like one or two work colleagues i have known. Another story from my past. I'd asked a girl out, and we'd arranged to meet at a Chinese restaurant for a meal. I arrived just before our arranged time, and within half a minute of arriving, a pigeon "mistook me for Nelson's column". I was covered in it - it was in my hair and all over my jacket.
