Ah, who knows, but, at least i can re tell the story. Now, this leads me to another enquiry, did/have you enjoyed the erm delights of Cats Whiskas Top Rank Suite Boobs etc ooo Sinatras? C'mon Willo, do tell, think most of us on here wouldve been there & (hopefjlly) done her(that). Went to the Locarno (pre Cats Whiskers)one Sunday evening with a mate who’d just got a car. Picked up to two girls - just after the bar closed - fifty years later still waking up next to my one !

In the late 60's, I used to chat to a lovely girl on the phone. She worked for a client of ours - in a custard factory! After some weeks, I asked her for a blind date. She agreed immediately, but responded 'but you might not like me'. I had to think fast. These were pre-car days, so I had to go by bus. After her curious response I arranged to meet halfway between two stops. I was deliberately 5 minutes late, and as the bus passed our rendezvous I got a good look at her. She was not my type. Never before had I dated a 4'9" hunchback, and I had no intention of starting that day either. Monday morning was a bit awkward though.

Thomas Cromwell organised a date for Henry viii with Anne of Cleeves. Monday morning was a bit awkward.
