Palace has to be the worst at passing in the league. It's utterly painful to watch. Devoid of creativity, energy, impact, tactics, passion, confidence etc etc.

Thankfully we have Guiata is a great keeper.

Roys watching the world pass by....knowing Palace they'll ironically score a goal and end this game 1-0...here's to wishful thinking.

Passing? We seem to have spent most of that half simply hoofing the ball up the pitch - barely anything done that you could say had finesse!

Leicester are a good team. That is why they are 2nd in the league. If we can escape with a nil nil it will be a triumph. Long way to go though.

To add we played better in the first half against Liverpool and Villa but we were losing both at half time. Have to take the positives

I would take off Zaha and Benteke, bring on Eze to play as 10 with Bats up front on his own.

Tekkers has done nothing and Zaha is just looking for fouls all the time. He'd start an argument in an empty phone box*

*To the younger members, phone boxes were big red boxes on street corners where you could make nuisance calls in the 90s without being caught. I'm told.

Remember going to Filbert st and winning by the same score when they had Lineker and missed 20 chances

I would take that Mendy, who struggles to get into their team normally, any day of the week. He has absolutely ruled the midfield.

Any football player who plays in a Hodgson team is completely wasting his career. My happiest day in football will be when he f***s off.

Feck right off . A coming together nothing more nothing less (And maybe why they didnt bother to look at it again ! )

And we still need a striker

Totally agree with the assessments so far. Inability to pass to a man is absolutely criminal for a top league team, embarrassing to see it time and time again.
Defence again for too slow, and so many brainless free kicks given away like on Saturday. What was Tomkins thinking, the guy is going nowhere? Down Mitchell's side there is no marking to prevent crosses, and as for central defence, the lack of pace and ball playing ability is hugely apparent.
Oh and the few chances we have fathomed, Townsends technique was dreadful. It makes you wonder what we work on in training.

Don’t worry - I’m sure Roy will do something really pro active and positive during half time to change the dynamic of this game!

I feel sorry for Mitchell.
Chucked in having been left out for a while.
Wilf at his petulant best up front on his side as well and coming into a team devoid of ideas and confidence.

Give them all coffee instead of tea?
