He is an effective manager of playing staff. He seems to rub Directors up the wrong way.

What you said, plus with the January window coming up, they might have told him they’re not spending, so he’s got to go with what he’s got and he might have made he’s feelings clear.

Though Pulis deserves criticism for the manner and timing of his departure, it is worth remembering that what he achieved at Palace was probably the single greatest managerial achievement I've ever seen at Selhurst. Without it, we'd have gone straight back down and quite possibly still be there. No new training ground, academy, new stand, famous wins against all the big clubs over the last seven years. Nothing.

Regardless of what the tribunal (rightly) decided Pulis owed Parish and cpfc, I for one won't forget just how much we owe him.

Also although I don't like him; The job Dowie did in his first 6 months, ending with promotion, from almost a relegation position was pretty decent

Just had a look at his 'alleged' bad results.

Dec.19th Sheff Wed 1 Coventry 0

Dec.26th Blackburn 1 Sheff Wed 1.

They have also beaten Warnock's Boro' tonight, so Pulis was clearly getting them out of trouble.

Clearly nothing.

You could equally argue that the team perform better without him

Pulis is past his sell by, should have retired after Palace as he said he wanted to.

Has he paid back the money the High Court ordered him to pony up to Parish.?

Nobody ever has the guts to ask him.

It was included as income in the club's accounts a couple of years ago
