I predict that Roy will continue to select the atrocious Luka and we will have no creativity in the middle of the park. I also predict that we will continue to have no idea what to do during throw ins. Last prediction is our full backs will play extremely narrow, leaving Sheffield United’s wingers unmarked and in acres of space, making them look like Barcelona. All of Roy’s tactics resulting in a Xmas gift from us to them and their first PL win of the season. It’s just so predictable as we keep making the same mistakes every game.

All we can hope is that we start the first half like we started the second half against Leicester Reserves and get an early goal. I think he will start with the same line up.

Massive game for us. We really don’t want to be the first team to lose to them, the damage that would do to team morale could be very costly. Hoping we will sneak a narrow win but it’s hard to have any confidence. I also expect the season to be stopped at some point but I don’t think it will be before this weekend.

Our defence is more solid with the return of Tomkins, and hopefully the more dynamic performance against Leicester will help us kick on. With a bit of luck it will be one of our traditional 1-0 exciting non events

Sheffield Utd continue to play neat football, but they just don't look threatening in front of goal. It's similar at Brighton, but they have had the fortune of a few penalties. We on the other hand have looked ragged at times, but have more quality going forward. If we could retain the same back four for more than two games it would help, as I think that has been a big issue. I think it is key that we don't allow United to settle as they will undoubtedly be anxious and we can't allow them to build confidence. Play Eze in this one and try and push them onto the back foot. A win would be a big step towards safety again. I think we'll do it and put in a better performance. 2-0.

They kicked us off the park at Selhurst last season and Baldock was the main culprit it took a few fouls before he was booked and then another few fouls but still no second yellow. I hope that we have a neutral ref and with Zaha AND Eze we should have enough to beat them. 2-0 to us.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

However, I shall be everso cross if they beat us.
