Kouyate should not be anywhere near any midfield,
he has been immense for many games with defending and that is where he should remain.
Leeds United as everyone is informing us are a joy to watch ..but for both sets of fans, more or less the same as Alan Pardew, it is a touch reckless, we have problems due to poor ball control more then likely due to the player attraction and costs in the past.

There are plenty of fans who'd say that we should it too to other teams when they're attacking us, it's just killing the enjoyment of watching good football.

18 fouls committed by SUFC yesterday, as opposed to our 8. People wonder why Zaha loses his patience when he gets hacked down time after time.

I lost count of the fouls committed by McGoldrick yesterday and am slightly bemused how more didn't get booked by a pretty lenient referee.

James McArthur has committed the 8th most fouls in the whole league this year and not one of them are for a bad challenge. He is a clever player stopping the oppo attacking.

Zaha and Townsend have commuted more fouls than Luca.

The key to yesterday's game was that we didn't allow them to settle and didn't give them time on the ball. We forced mistakes and players like Andros and McArthur worked insanely hard. Tomkins looked really solid as well and I think if we can try and keep the same back four for a few games it will make a huge difference. While Eze's goal was insane, I think for me the most impressive thing yesterday was the desire and commitment shown by the team to ensure they got three points. They could easily have come into the game expecting Sheffield Utd to rollover, but instead they paid them respect and fought for the win never letting up.

Having seen Sheffield Utd quite a bit recently I was expecting more from them, but I think it was the early goal that killed them. They had probably seen us as the game where they could get their first win, but from the start we were better, quicker and more composed. The only thing they brought to the table was fouls. They are fighting for their lives, so it isn't really a surprise and if it was us we would probably be demanding our players respond similarly, rather than letting the opposition seemingly cut through us like butter. Having said that, like Huddersfield, I won't be sad to say goodbye to them.

Good post, I feel though that the ref somewhat allowed their behaviour to continue, I've seen some take the captain to one side and that should've been done yesterday. Sheff.U need to plan for life in the Championship now and playing the way they are is not going to help anyone.
