Hugely underated by some Palace fans.

Yes, we will miss him but boy is he injury prone.

Time to put your hand in your pocket SP. I would say play Eze every week but I really don’t want him pigeon holed into that left midfield spot.

We'll miss him. Not much cop with the ball at his feet perhaps, but a great athlete and a hard worker who has added very clever and well timed off-the-ball runs into the opponents box to his game this year.

Good news for others though. Obviously Townsend and Eze will be first choice, but perhaps PVA will play left wing sometimes, meaning and Mitchell will get more games (if he wasn't now first choice left back anyway).

He is now under the banner of injury prone. This isn't his first long term injury.

Just like Tomkins, Cahill and Wickham.

That's without Nathan Ferguson, and whether he will actually play top flight football.

As if it wasnt hard enough with an aging squad.

Maybe Scott Banks Left footed player, although players mostly on the right, and i believe is rated highly by Roy, who didn't want him loaned out

I think that’s because he does Roy’s shopping. It’s not football related, he’s too young for that.

I'd have thought Pierick would be closer to the front of the queue? He got a few games last time out.

Good call on PvA, tho doubt it would/will happen,as, imo, Roy will either put Jairo or Wilf there, more likely Jairo.

As for 3 months, if his injury is as bad as they say, id say rest of season.

PVA for Jeffrey Schlupp is a good option, and there are others.

It is a great deal better than in the past, we have options everywhere, not dictated to by injuries.

Good recovery to Jeff he has been playing very well.

Our squad depth is vital imo, it is not yet half way and they may all be needed.

Schlupp is definitely underrated, but we can always move Wilf out wide, put PVA in an advanced position, bring Eze in or loan someone in for the rest of the season. Its a blow, but not a bitter one IMP

Not a good idea (imo). He's shown this season that he's far more effective in his front 2 role with license to roam.

PvA would be my logical choice as when he plays LB he seems to spend most of his time in a LM position anyway, so why not make it official. Also despite his defensive lapses PvA is probably best placed to support Mitchell.

As for Jairo, personally, I prefer to see him in a CDM position where he can influence the game more with his passing.

It's all a matter of personal opinions of course.

Finally, hope we see Schluppy back by Easter.
