I don't think I have ever heard anyone say we couldn't return, don't want to yes or the EU will make us pay by forcing us to take the euro and join Schengen and no rebate.

Of course the EU would like us back they are missing our money but it's not going to happen any time soon as the public does not have the appetite as last weeks opinion poll showed. They are fed up with Brexit but there is no groundswell additional support for re-joining.

My own guess is that the establishment will try and lead us down a path that will eventually lead to us re-joining a stealth policy if you like.

They won't need to.

5-10 more years of experiencing the reality of Brexit Britain, and a few more years of leavers getting older, and there will be majority support for re-joining before long.

I'll make a note in my calendar it's along side WE's forecast that Trump will be successfully prosecuted for Russia gate.

On the contrary. As people see how inflexible and dictatorial the EU is continuing to be in its attempts to punish us for leaving and the way it is endangering peace in Northern Ireland, they will not support any attempt to rejoin.

Who does he think he is - Don Corleone? Is he going to send over a horse's head?

UK voters have never voted to leave the single market or customs union. which is causing immense damage.

In fact prominent brexiteers promised the opposite.

No one can answer this but I will try,
How has brexit affected you or yours directly?
Also I have posted that I have no problem rejoining the EU and cancelling brexit.
The issue is the ‘rules’ we would be tied into. If we are so important to them then we should have bespoke rules which benefit us as well as them .

The implications on leaving the EU regarding the single market etc were clearly spelled out, in scaremongering terms, in the pro-remain document that the government sent to all households before the referendum.

'Brexit is Costing the UK £100 Billion a Year in Lost Output'.

And the rest.

From business investment to the ability to hire workers, Brexit is costing the UK $124 billion (£100 billion) a year in lost output, according to Bloomberg Economics.

It's a tragedy really, and it will get worse, not better as leave star-gazers pretend.

The UK is a bit like Basil Fawlty and the German tourist.

'How ever did you win?'

By no longer being in the EU racket we have avoided paying out £191 billion by not having to contribute to the EU post-covid 'stimulus package'.
