Perhaps that’s what they told him

Perhaps mate, but it seems the amount of business owners moaning about lack of staff after brexit can"t be ignored, or papered over, theres a real problem there, and with the wetherspoons bloke in particular, I think he is eating humble pie!

2m are still on furlough sitting at home not working. Stop their freebie and they will start looking for work.

I think it will be autumn before we find out if this staffing crisis is real or just a temporary blip but bearing in mind the number of people who are actually unemployed and not furlouhed why would we be importing cheap foreign labour.

The hospitality sector has had billions from the taxpayer the government should tell them to look closer to home for their staff.

What an opportunity for you and all your brexiteer tory mates to show us how brexit is really working.

You can all volunteer to do all these jobs, yourselves.

The benefits have been endless.

In think in reality it's far too early to tell.

But as one of my teaching colleagues said the day after the vote, 'it was done for emotional reasons'.

The EU has to bear the responsibility for being a body more suited to its elites than its states.

Personally I was very happy to reject it.

And possibly, down the one, contributed to the break up of the EU.

It's inevitable....though I think it'll break up into regions.....however it works out it has to be far more decentralised.

So working in the hospitality sector is somehow beneath people on the dole? But it's good enough for Eastern Europeans?

We have to get away from this mentality of paying British people not to work and importing cheap foreign labour.

Not everyone is suited to this type of work but with 4.5% unemployed and 2m on furlough we should be able to find some.

What % of GDP does this affect?
Fishing is 0.2 farmers about 4% FSP not sure.
The figure left is probably over 80%.
Not bad really is it ?
