Yes. It isn’t law yet. First reading is the clue. It has to go to the senate. The adopted text supplements article L412-4 of the Consumer Code which stipulates that “the indication of the country of origin is compulsory for agricultural and food products and seafood, in the raw or processed state” by the following statement “for which there is a proven link between some of their properties, in particular in terms of public health protection and consumer protection, and their origin”.

Oddly, here in Hong Kong, the Falun Gong group which is basically outlawed as a dangerous cult in PRC are freely allowed to have a virtually permanent protest pitch site outside a major department store here with signs basically calling the CPC evil and hell bound. Oddly there were lots of Christian group in the audience supporting them. As for the performance it was pretty poor they only seems to have 2 or 3 moves.

So that's what you do in your spare time China is now the major power and we have to realise it and get along imho. The G7 just a group of waffling irrelevance.
