And top of their league now having just beaten the previous leaders 4-1! Also ahead of Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spammers, Villa, Leicester, Southampton and THE WEED. The lads are doing well. Let's hope a good few of them come through.

And top of their league now having just beaten the previous leaders 4-1! Also ahead of Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spammers, Villa, Leicester, Southampton and THE WEED.

The lads are doing well. Let's hope a good few of them come through.

This should be grounds for optimism. But given we rarely promote anyone from the U23s, don't expect to see any U.18s for a few years, if ever. The problem is that every season survival occupies so much of our season (and we are there again) that there is never the opportunity to blood younger players.

Any player under the age of 21 as at 1st January can be added to the first team squad at any time because they don't count as one of the 25.

Wonder how his defensive qualities are? Sadly he�ll probably show promise, be sent on loan to somewhere obscure, make the bench once and that�ll be the last we see of him.
