I don’t watch people like Brand regularly. I dip in from time to time to stay aware. Nothing I have ever seen suggests there is a team backing him. So I did some research and that produced nothing, even on his own website. So I would like to see some evidence of that claim, because it seems unlikely.

Maybe there are some folk doing administration. When there are that many willing to subscribe to have their prejudices amplified you need a few clerks to round up the cash.

Brand is no longer on YouTube, being thrown off for posting dangerous medical disinformation about vaccines. He is now on an alternative platform.

He obviously found being left wing didn’t pay enough so decided to shift to repeating right wing conspiracy theories. There’s a big market out there for that. Brand is just tapping into it. He saw others making loads and thought, me too! It’s the oldest trick that a fading entertainer tries.

So here is another conspiracy theory. Who benefits most from people like Brand and our tolerance of them? Who benefits from dissatisfaction and dissent? Who then is likely to push money to him via troll accounts? Are his “subscribers” all verified as being genuine by Brand? Perhaps you might like to ask him!

I've seen a couple of videos where he's talked about his team and shown them and I'm meant to investigate for you? Errrr, you're the clown who claimed that he has no editorial and no lawyers to ensure he somehow fits into your absurd requirements.

The reality is that he does.

As for Brand's wealth according to this he's worth 20 million dollars, which is comfortable multi-millionaire status by some way. More than enough to not worry about some weird scheme you have cooked up about scamming people on the Internet.

You are avoiding answering a difficult question, as usual.

You claimed to know he has a team of editors and lawyers, based on having seen them on one, or more, of his videos. I haven’t, and I watched a few bits and pieces. I have no intention and even less desire to watch any more to prove your claim.

More importantly, I want to know who these people are and what their jobs are. Then I can do some investigation. They could just be a couple of his mates. A few words from Brand, a couple of faces on screen and you claiming something, proves nothing.

I have only ever seen Brand pontificating his self importance. No sense of anybody else there or involved. He seems to have his own notes, no edited script or autocue. So I am sceptical. You made the claim. It’s for you to prove it, not me. Proving a negative is not a service I provide.

I have read a variety of estimates of his wealth, ranging from £7 million to £80 million. So nobody really knows. £20 million is the most popular, probably all from the same back of an envelope. The calculation of his podcast revenue was more detailed, based on the amount per 100 subscribers. I judge on actions. He is concentrating on the podcasts. That’s where the money is. If the subscription base lust for red meat, that’s what he will serve up. Whether he would even be aware of possible troll accounts, let alone care, is beside the point. It suits certain anti-democratic states to encourage dissent and dissatisfaction in the west. So they are highly likely to be encouraging people like Brand, whether with money via troll subscriptions or positive responses.
