Thanks for the concern. I am OK although I now have a broken leg and a massive boot to lug around so am a little slower than normal. Which is a bit of a nuisance as we are moving home in a few weeks and you will know how much work that involves!

I have got tired of some of the nasty attitudes that are common themes on here and see no point in countering them. Brick walls have more susceptibility to reason than a couple of the posters on here. Ideas like genes needing to be protected for future generations leave a very bad taste in my mouth. Repeatedly criticising "progressives" rather than recognising that progress is an inevitable consequence of human development leaves me dismayed. Sarcastic references to being "woke" seems to ignore the fact that being "woke" is infinitely preferable to being "dozy".

So I am trying to ignore the wailings of the right-wing fringes and allow them to indulge in the confirmation of their biases that they so enjoy here.

When something more interesting pops up so may I. For a while anyway, whilst the leg heals and before the mayhem of the house move begins.

No wailing from me. I try to see things as they are and deal with reality. None at all about Trump. Just my opinions, which events have generally proved to be well-founded so not a lot of bias involved.
