Do any supporters have inside information as to why Luka remains a captain?

If I were a teammate, his captaincy alone would make me question my loyalty and commitment to the club. I loved it when Wilf was made captain. He may or may not be the soul of the team, but he certainly is the engine. Despite his antics and his temper, he is a player who (except when he's attacked and the referee turns a blind eye) exudes a passion for competing.

He doesn't get as much support from Eze than he would from Townsend or Schlupp, so occasionally he's caught in a 2v1 situation.

But definitely his passing needs to be number 1 thing for him to approve upon because he loses the ball too much for my liking.

Whilst I agree Roy should be replaced at the end of the season he can only be part of the problem. The management must also take responsibility for leaving him with an ageing squad . You could see the effects of that tonight when the Spammers just had more energy to outrun our ageing players. The players themselves also bear responsibility for the poor performance their passing was very bad even worse than normal. So it is the collective that is the problem.
Roy must stay till the end of the season as he does at least know how to get them to win the odd match to enable us to survive this season. After that all hell can be let lose and a culling fest can ensue. COYP

Look, every general goes to war with the army they have. This defending Roy is BS and actually harbors on preferential bias. Were it someone else they would never have these chances. Issue is players have more to offer than Roy could get from them. More than Roy could ever get from them. So in my book, no tru palace supporter could be part of the Roy IN crowd
