Wolves have many players unavailable for the clash tomorrow, but with only half a team, will be more than match to secure a win against clueless Roy and his dispirited and baffled by his tactics, squad.

Difficult to see anything but a defeat. They've beaten us twice already this season without needing to get out of third gear. They are technically streets ahead of us. Now sometimes passion can overcome technique but we're short of that too, at present.
Wolves by at least two goals
Aaaarrrrgghhhh! There's just no magic about Palace any more. It just shows how much Palace in particular has lost since the grounds were closed.

Wolves have a manager who takes an active interest in the game. We have a manager who looks like he is waiting for a blade of grass to grow and a coach whose only contribution is to shout "go on Wilf".

As against Wespam I will gain hope for a draw - no doubt will be equally dissapointed by our performance again - but live in hope !

February could be make or break - several ‘winnable’ games -
Will need to pick up 7 or 8 points then to create a cushion.

This sums it up perfectly and we used to have reputation for clawing wins from defeats and a good set piece team, not anymore.... I want some of that palace identity back which is not apparent at the moment. We are getting tarred with the non football brush at the mo. Pityful.

Wolves run all over us. Traore treats Mitchell like a pylon. We can't cover anyone on corners. We don't get a shot on goal. Whoever plays up front, whether it's Mateta, Benteke, or Bats, never sees the ball. Wolves focus all their players on shutting down Wilf and Eze, all our other players give the ball away constantly.

Pretty much the same as every other match this season.

After the match, Roy says he was happy how we looked when we were down 0 - 2, then had some bad luck to go down 0 - 3.

CP 0 - 3 Wolves

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

That's 2 passes strung together.

Lol, we struggle against teams that deny us any time on the ball as Wolves do, the complete opposite to Arsenal when we played them, having said that we will play with our new striker today who could make a huge massive difference by actually moving his bottom when he sees an opportunity arising, hope we play him from the start.

We have to see this Mateta player first because opportunities are made by a striker who understands how to put himself in the right place at the right time which sadly we haven't had since Glen Murray.
West Hams third winning goal come from a simple corner where their player was just simply very determined to get to the ball before anyone else, lets all hope this new chap has this characteristic.

I saw against West Ham some very encouraging moments they were admittedly destroyed by our awful concentration at both ends notably highlighted by their second goal and Benteke's horrendous appreciation of any ball coming into the box to attack, I clearly remember a wonderful ball from Eze played between two defenders where he could easily have placed himself but instead just stood and watched, we need Mateta and as importantly Ferguson desperately.

If we signed Kane, I wonder how long before he would start? I’m putting Mateta up there. Bet Benteke starts. Madness.

We haven't the time to muck about anymore, but I too bet he starts with him, just really hope he decides to bring him on sooner then the eighty mins.

Bit OTT, build up play and first goal was very impressive exactly the same for our last, we have lots of interesting play outside opposition boxes where our players seem scared to take a shot and then make horrendous decisions and lose it, we did the same against Wolves in all our defeats.

We are actually not that far off as an attacking force, our ability in defending is awful though.
