Indeed

I am not wholly anti the anti 442 brigade but it is the absence of a match fit tomkins that will really hurt today.

Luka used to be unsung hero of the squad; now it's tomkins for me.

Well, Hodgson has made SIX changes and I'm reasonably happy as 2 of the 3 I DIDN'T want to see play are on the bench and McArthur isn't even on the bench (I said he needed one but expected him to be on the bench).

With that line-up we have a chance and may well see Mateta come off the bench. I'm going for a narrow win to us 1-0

As long as Hodgson is at Palace Luka will start as captain no matter how poor his form.
If Riedewald has any sense he won’t sign that new contract as he will never get a proper opportunity under Hodgson.
