Lampard did a great job of bringing youth to Chelsea and now their new coach will benefit from that. PALACE HAS TOO MANY OLD PLAYERS ON THE BOOKS WHO JUST DON'T CUT THE MUSTARD TOO OFTEN.
It is about time Palace won something and moved up a level and gave more youth a chance while saving a bunch of cash. (opinion)

Did Frank Lampard get the best out of what he had available at Chelsea ? IMO his failure has been pretty spectacular.

To buy in Premier League quality youth costs more than our owners will fork out and our own youth aren't good enough

Give it a chance. We have just had Category 1 status approved. Our under 18's are special, top of the Premier. In a few years time, we will be the envy of many

Last season he was working under a transfer embargo.Chelsea finished a creditable 4th in the PL and reached the FA Cup Final.

They signed over £200 Mill of talent this season bringing in 7 players but these need to be integrated into a team and he was relieved of his duties after only half a season.
There have been reports of issues behind the scenes with the Board and players so if these are accurate this could be a factor in his dismissal.

He managed to fall with Kante as well by all accounts who IMO has been one of the best defensive midfield players in the world (maybe even the best) over the last few years.

I obviously no nothing about being a football manager but surely there are vastly different requirements for smanagers trying to win the league with luxury players and those avoiding relegation with the barrel scrapers we have ?

Its a no from me.

Something sounds very wrong about those three names in the same sentence.
