Delighted with the win against a poor Wolves team.
Batshuayi hugely disappointing, Riedewald impressive.

Nothing to do with the change in formation, that nullified Wolves then!

any manager out of work or thinking of a change, watching that second half display should be really optimistic and licking their lips.

This was once a quality forum....

PVA still worries me. Especially after Traore came on second half. PVA seemed clueless time and again as Traore skipped passed him for fun. After being nutmegged, PVA sat so far off that Traore said "thanks" and just had a free cross.

I think Van Aanholt is still in the Arthur Wait eating that hot dog but apart from the one incident he didn't do too badly against him.

I missed the first half but we looked okay.
Clyne made a huge difference in my opinion.
Not having McArthur and Luka together worked better and when Reidewald came on he gave us more impetus.
Batshuayi - needs to be given more time I reckon.
Ayew was okay as well.
Better performance and fair play to Roy for making changes.
Great win - much needed for points and confidence

My sentiments exactly, I thought we got the tactics right and i like that eze and zaha were able to roam about, even saw luka up there at right wing at one stage

A clean sheet and an important win.
There was more clarity in our approach to the game even if we didn’t create too much.
Thankfully Traore only came on towards the end as he looked a handful.
For those, including me, who wanted to see Eze in a more central role I thought he was more involved and looked more dangerous from the left.
Other than of course his very good goal, the game seemed to pass him by when in a central role.

It was good to see us playing with marginally more confidence than in recent games, but I'm glad Traore and Silva didn't play for 90 minutes. Guiata would have had a lot more work. Ayew helped us at both ends of the pitch, and Riedewald's awareness and passing shore up the entire center of the field. Without Ray, Roy looked even more tired than usual. Hope he'll show a little happy energy in the presser.

Personally I agreed with all the changes to the starting 11 Roy made today apart from at Left Back.

Traore has made mincemeat of both our left backs in the recent past, but of the two I know which one has demonstrated the potential to improve.

Still, perhaps Roy wanted to send a shockwave through the squad after West Ham by making as many changes as he sensibly could. In that context it won't do Mitchell any harm to have a kick up the arse as part of his growth.

He did the right thing by trying to show him inside but traore can turn any left back with his power and pace. If he was on from the start we may have lost but for some reason wolves dont fancy him for 90 mins! Strange really as hes a match winner.
Our gain is their loss.

Thank god for that!
Jairo has to start. Disappointed not to see the big man instead of Bats. We rode our luck at times and as usual we were crying out for some width and drive to get beyond the defenders and whip a cross in. The fact that our wingers have to come back on themselves every time make our attacks slow and predictable ( 2 shots at goal all game is crap)!
But as many have said at this point in time 3 points closer to safety and Fulham and WBA dropping points makes for a pleasant rest of the weekend (for a change).

I have been critical of Dann recently- but I thought he was a reassuring presence today.

COYP!
