More of the same this week then. Same old s***e from the midfield and defence. 3 attacking players getting frustrated. Subs at 79 mins. Will make the run in more exciting being in the mix.... FFS.

Hoorah, the stubborn old git has finally dropped Townsend and Benteke. Glad that Cahill has gone too. Milo needs to pull his socks up though if we are not to be overrun in Midfield.

We need a fast out ball today to our front players. No fannying around tippy tappying it around at the back letting them get into shape.

Ward for Kouyate and Reidewald for Luka would be more sensible.

Interesting line up. Bats and Ayew looked OK in the last 15 mins on Tuesday.

Just hope Roy uses his subs strategically today rather than throwing a couple on in the last ten minutes and hoping for a miracle when the game has gone against us.

All I will say after seeing that lineup is I am now firmly in the Roy Out camp.

Roy again showing he has lost the plot and doesn't have a scooby.

Kouyate is awful in defense and is not a defender stop playing him their we have other options.

I hope we get a positive result but it still doesn't help that we need a new manager this guy for some one with so much experience has no idea about multi tactics, how to use players natural plus strengths.

That lineup is a recipe for disaster. I am normally very positive but I can feel a bad beating coming here.

That's how I viewed but like someone else said, could easily convert to 4-2-3-1 with Bats up top and either Wilf or Eze behind with the other back on the left.

Would have preferred Mitchell to PVA but maybe there's a different intent in approach (i.e. Palace playing on the front foot like against United earlier in the season) or Roy has seen something in training from PVA that shows that he's improved on his positional play

Newcastle will be hugely buoyed by their excellent and unexpected win today.
If we suffer a "Bad beating", indeed any beating today, there will be a real gulf between the confidence levels of both teams and Newcastle will be favourites to record another win.

Eze and Ayew wasted out wide again and two man midfield, or is it one and a half with Luka in there. Is Jimmy injured? We'll miss him

Let's keep the ball this season!
