He is a joy to watch. There are not many players with his composure on the ball. Even on the edge of our own box defending he is calm and makes the right decision. A brilliant signing. Interesting that his goal came when we went into 3 centre midfield players in the second half with him as the attacking 1 of the 3. It will be interesting to see if that’s how we line out against Newcastle. Newcastle appeared very tenacious against Everton, we don't do or like tenacious.

Couldnt agree more, a brilliant player, cant tackle for toffee but nor could Glenn Hoddle and he wasn't too shabby. That dummy yesterday even shifted me from one side of the settee to the other. Only just realised what a great passing move it was too.

A very important 3pts yesterday and some solid performances. The one true bit of quality won the game. Although the game wasn't too exciting yesterday, the tactics were intriguing. Roy changed the starting line up to a 451/4231 accommodating Eze in a central position. Something a lot of fans have wanted, myself included. He then didn't make much of an impact and we reverted to 442 at half time with him back out on the left. Low and behold he then scores the match winner after drifting in from the wing. From Roy's post match press conference it sounds as though we'll work more on the 451 from the first half. I believe Riedewald being included will be key as he's more likely to find the key passes through to Eze in the middle. Which we lacked in the first half partly down to our own failures but also Wolves play a very deep and compact system. Anyways great to get a win and comforting to know we're open to playing more than one system. COYP

With a midfield consisting of terriers like McCarty, McArthur, Luka there is no one to deliver those telling passes upfront.

Moving Eze to central mid field and having wing backs worked well and lead to the goal. I don’t understand why Bats and Clyne were substituted and RH reverted to 4-4-2 by bringing on Townsend and Ward. Bats does have an attitude problem but I thought he didn’t have a bad game and his offsides weren’t so much of a problem in addition he has pace that Ayew and Benteke lack.
