Great result considering. I am still in the Roy out camp that hasn't changed .But thought Ayew was good ,him and Bats as I mentioned before d don't work together .but both of them put the leg work in, that Benteke never does Riedwald should be one of first names on teamsheet .We will be ok this season but need to shift the deadwood and get 3/4 younger players in for next season .

Great result considering. I am still in the Roy out camp that hasn't changed .But thought Ayew was good ,him and Bats as I mentioned before d don't work together .but both of them put the leg work in, that Benteke never does Riedwald should be one of first names on teamsheet .We will be ok this season but need to shift the deadwood and get 3/4 younger players in for next season .

Meantime it will be attritional and painful to watch as we limp to safety when in reality we should be doing and achieving so much more..!! We'll see..!! COYP

Yep that is a fair summary..!!

If Zaha could maintain some level of calm in front of goal instead of slash wildly then it would and should have been two. Nevertheless a clean sheet and a win, a confidence booster. Having a player who can actually pass to his own teammates consistently is surely an essential when trying to create and manage a game. Will Hodgson start Reidewald now? Unfortunately, some people are never happy. This game reminded me of our win at their ground a couple of years back (living in the W Midlands, it was almost a home game). That night Wolves didn't know what to do because we wouldn't give them the space they thrive on. We weren't as good today as we were then but we did the job and completed our third clean sheet in five league games, which bodes well for the upcoming games.

Indeed it was. Nearly as good as the away day at Le3icester when we won 4-1, the only two away games I went to that year! Went to all but 2 of the home games, though.

I certainly do. That first game against Notts County in particular! Some of the so called fans on this site are deluded fantasists. I get where the OP is coming from. I didn�t watch it because I can�t stand the way we play. Our style of play is dull, dull, dull. Is that what fans really want? We sign new players and Roy won�t play them. The chances are Mateta will never start a game. What kind of message does that send out to any potential signings?
