And so you should.

If we get stuck in the bottom 3 for a couple of weeks, Bruce will get the boot. And obviously if we get some new owners they'll be getting shot of Bruce before they even work out how the coffee machine works.

Seen a lot of 'experts' compare Bruce and Benitez. They're ignoring that Benitez was on an upward trajectory, whereas this s*** it pretty much as good as it'll get under Bruce. Had Ashley allowed RB to buy who he wanted (within reason) we'd be comfortably safe right now, we wouldn't have wasted £40m on a player who isn't the right fit and we likely would have navigated this bizarre season with the minimum of fuss.

I'm torn on the Saudi bid. I want change at the top, but there's no getting away from the horrific acts committed by the Saudi regime. We'd be a sportswashing vehicle for Bond villains, instead of the Dickensian villain we've got now.

We have a bit of a bias against Bruce here, but in all fairness, he's not normally that bad. There just doesn't ever quite seem to be a settled side for you this season. Also, as you say, a couple of signings looked big, but haven't worked out.
I remember when there were rumours of us being taken over by Gadaffi's son, we were going through the same thing. We wanted a shiny new ground and shiny new players but it all seemed a bit grubby somehow. I guess football has just changed in general. Best of luck for the rest of the season - three worse teams anyway.

We were somewhat fortunate that your team failed to score that second before we had our impressive fifteen minutes of football (and only) to be in front, your squad looks good enough to be able to push on when it decides to introduce the correct staff and I don't mean Bruce, he is quality.

In my humble estimation he has been a 'Positive' in our team, with the ability to actually pass a ball to one of our own players and has a calmness and composure when in possession. He has also scored goals for us.Well done to Jairo !

I did feel that towards the end last night he was 'Running on empty' and wasn't surprised when he was substituted.

Second that! Our players must be close to the worst passers in PL (at least some of them - not to mention names.) Jairo R. is a clear exception to that fact. Now I hope our dear boss does not ditch him again when the two Mcs are fit for fight

Where was he for the other 96 minutes and 50 seconds?

Haha now this has to win worst post ever.

He was all over the place actually passing the ball and moving.

Amazing that a footballer who uses his foot to kick the ball on the floor to a team mate then moves into space.

I should tell Guardiola that’s how he could win trophies

Oh wait.

Surprised Eddie doesn’t put a petition up asking for us to sign Johnny Wilkinson as he can kick a ball high and long..
