They will certainly be open and positive, and we certainly won't be. Normally that makes it a question of whether we can hold out against a team moving the ball around in our half for ages at a time, and whether we can get enough on the break to hurt them, but this might be different. Bielsa is often cited as this kind of crazy professor that inspired a generation of top coaches, and his football is certainly unique. I've watched Leeds a bit recently, and they are a funny lot. They seem to somehow be less of a possession based side than you might think, and mostly look to play on the counter themselves, but in a mad, balls-out sort of way, with half a dozen of them sprinting forwards across the width of the pitch every time they win it back. Guardiola once described Bielsa's Bilbao tactics as: 'It's crazy. They all run forward, then they all run back again'. That might not sound unusual, but they literally all do sprint up and down all game, hence his teams getting knackered as the season goes on. Hopefully we'll catch them as the heavy legs begin to bite. 2-0 to us, with both sides missing four or five great chances.

I don't think Bielsa is a top coach by only having one style. He may well have noticed how we struggle to open up teams if we have the ball. All they need to do is sit pretty deep and counter attack with long balls and that will cause us problems.

For me it's 2-0 to us. I do worry that the successful 4231 formation may well be without Wilf and therefore one of the three is missing and possibly replaced by Andros.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

Leeds do tend too blow a bit hot and cold, they had a new pitch laid last week, against Everton players were going down all over he place. Maybe no Wilf maybe Matete will start, Leeds won’t be prepared for him, so be prepared for anything could be 0 - 0 or 3 - 3

Who TF knows? We're Palace!
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

If no WZ, it will be a very difficult game. You never know with this Leeds side... This - because Leeds press forward and counter effectively and Wilf takes two players or more out of the game whenever he has the ball.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

If Wilf cannot play, then I am looking forward to the commentator keeping the viewers informed about our previous performances in his absence.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

We beat them 3-1 if memory serves me right . ( with a little help from VAR)
