That's fair. It's never going to be a nice experience being stopped and searched, and it's an intrusive, resource heavy of tackling knife crime. The problem is that no one has presented a effect alternative.

I think it takes a leap of faith to claim that stop and search will create more knife crime. What we have is the ideological looney left refusal to take a pragmatic approach to a problem thats out of control and leaving people dead.

I'd rather people were annoyed and distrustful of the police than stabbed and left to bleed to death.
