Cant believe you’re still banging on about Hennessy. He isn’t good enough. Reckon if he’d been in goal against Liverpool they’d have hit double figures.

The commentator seriously just asked can Burnley hold on?

This does smack of the manager losing the dressing room. Although what can he do when your defenders can’t kick the ball

Roy has to shoulder a lot of the blame but my god we have a team of awful players with shocking attitude. Watching Riedewald and Luka once again get destroyed in midfield has a knot in my stomach.

I do think that the ranks of the "Roy Out" brigade have been swelled by this unacceptable dross.

Is that the best you can come up with? Pathetic

Attacking options on the bench, Mateta and Townsend. We all know which one will be coming on in the second half!

Let's hope 29 points will be enough because I can't see us getting anything else this year. We will be gifting every team we play though so it's going to be close. 17th place here we come.

Our best hope this season is for those below us e.g. Burnley, Brighton, Wolves, Newcastle etc to continue to lose alongside the bottom 3 as a buffer for our relegation prospects to be mitigated.

In tandem, the sooner we get to at least 38 points then the better. At which point once that happens, we should announce that Hodgson will step down in the summer and [insert credible manager] has already been appointed.

This way the rebuild gets underway behind the scenes, players due to be out of contract knows what the future direction of the team is heading into.

This was exactly my observation also. I don't like to bash players but Benteke is hiding from the responsibility of scoring, he does it a lot and that is exactly what he did here.

Shearer called him out for it on MOTD the other year. How he even gets in the squad, let alone on the pitch is beyond me. Hodgson needs to be sacked by 5pm. It is totally unacceptable for the board to even think about extending their contracts.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Roy has proper dirt on parish, perhaps to do with reid and that’s why he’s not getting the elbow.

The incompetence from the top down is mind blowing. We paid 3 million (loan spell) for a striker to warm the bench. The same for a full back that was injured and hasn't started a game this season. Another striker who seems to be permantly injured is in the squad! Time to cut the fat, get the deadwood out and start afresh with a manager with some vision.
