We deserve to be relegated this season. It’s as simple as that. I would say it is now about 50/50 whether we end up in the relegation positions.

Someone tell me where our next win is coming from?

Have to agree with you. WBA, Fulham and Brighton are all playing beter than us under RH right now.

Manager poor.
Players - not all - mostly poor
Recruitment poor.
Investment non existent.
Decisions on player contracts - fantasy land.
The Club is in a bad place from top to bottom and they have one hell of a mess to sort out.
We will likely stay up this season but without huge changes we will be in League One in no time at all - we are on the edge of the precipice - let's hope we don't go over that edge.

After witnessing the last 2 dire performances I am not convinced at all.
Disgraceful.

Just a reminder, even after this abject s***e we are 14 points clear of the bottom three.

And we shortly play two of the bottom three. Draw you own conclusions as to whether that good or bad !

Out of the changing room, motivated and raring to go? Nope: concede two goals with in ten minutes.

Out of the changing room for the second half, refreshed and raring to go? Nope: concede a goal within three minutes.

Conclusion: management motivation completely absent. Desperately needed: a manager!

My concern is that you are conflating a manager with a hypnotist. Attitude comes from the individual, Listen to the likes of Roy Keane and Graeme Souness, they say it every week.

Hodgson should be held accountable for the things he controls, but he didn't f*** up the clearance, or fail to contest the header, or not track the runner.

These are average players showing, once again, why they are so.

An inept performance however you want to slice it. PVA is my pick as worst player of the day. Although it was tight....

He is everything I dislike about todays players.
Arrogant, flashy, doesn't care about anyone but himself and just continues to take the money.
How he is a Premier League player I have no idea at all.

So what, do you think we have enough to stay up? The rot has set in and with that, so will panic amongst the players. I reckon we might get 2 or 3 draws rest of the season and no wins so I’m nowhere near convinced we are safe.

I have no idea why Roy started Kouyate and PVA – defensive liabilities but, more importantly, players who rely on finesse rather than effort. Perhaps Roy thought we'd do fine with them, and he wanted to keep them engaged in training, but... their lack of effort (along with Luka's cynical lack of leadership) had an ugly ripple effect.

That stupid analysis of how many points we are clear of the bottom 3 misses one key fact ==>We are only there not because of what we did exclusively, but what other teams have done to themselves and the 3rd factor of luck. Nothing to do with RH brilliance or experience. End of.

I totally agree, but that is the Palace conundrum in a nutshell. As of three or four years ago, we either had to join in with over-paying for underperformance just to get the requisite quality, or persevere with hoping that championship players, with a brilliant attitude, would over-perform. As Sheffield United have found, the second route is no less fraught than the first.

Do you actually hold a manager responsible for anything a team does?
