It's alright for you lot as a good neighbour just up the road is a Burnley fan. I can't to the shops without passing his house. Unless I can glide past like Eze.

You could s*** in his letterbox and run off?

That would be a very modern Palace approach - not classy, but effective in the end.

That's a fair point. Players are just human beings, and the value of a crowd giving you both barrels when you have been complete s*** shouldn't be underestimated.

From the BBC..
Burnley (29y 349d) became the first opponent to name a starting XI with an older average age than Crystal Palace (29y 148d) in a Premier League game against the Eagles this season.

I've used that as an excuse before lol.

I'd swap Burnley's back 5 for ours in a hearbeat.

I've heard none of them earn more that 35K a week - not sure how true that is

Within reason age is irrelevant, its all about performance. Some players grab every day they can still play with both hands (does anyone remember how fecking great Ray Houghton was at Palace?), whilst some throw the towel in ahead of schedule because they found out in their mid-20s that they weren't making the very top.

I'm looking at YOU Benteke.

I would take their whole starting 11 at this stage to be honest.

Mate I really have no interest or pay any attention or credence to what you think or say..!!

Let's just leave it at that..!!
