Like you, I now meet up with my son. He buys me beer these days and I can remember holding his hand in the early days of taking him to Selhurst - bit embarassing really, he was in his late twenties (only joking son). The last live game I really enjoyed was beating Bournemouth 1-0 at home last season. Sakho got sent off after about 15 minutes and it was real backs to the wall stuff (a bit like tonight) and then Jeff Schlupp scored in the middle of the second half. Somehow we hung on to take the win. It felt like we'd won the league or something. I guess I've learnt to cherish the highs and tonight was certainly another. My wife on the other hand completely underwhelmed. "Oh that was good then" was about all she could manage. I've also got the pleasure of bumping into the many seaweed fans around where I live for the next few days. Cue us to lose to Fulham now. Be subtle ... now you can get that Palace face cover out and wear it with pride. Mine has been laying on the back seat of the car and hasn't seen the light of day for a while!

There's not been many over the last few years, but West Ham away last season was pretty good to finally beat them in their new stadium.

I didn't enjoy the Brighton match throughout the second half. I knew they would equalise and was convinced they would win. As the clock ticked on I began to hope we might scrape a draw but was still terrified every time Brighton attacked. Edited by peterg (23 Feb 2021 1.45pm)
