Not sure about Howe but in fairness to him they had horrendous injury problems that contributed towards relegation

No change for here then!

In my opinion it will be one of the hardest jobs in recent years to 5ake over this palace side .No apparent team plan as to formation,an ageing squad, players out of contract. With 5he added pressure of keeping us in the premiership. Good luck with that one Lol

which is why I wish they came in now, could see who wants to stay, who is up for it, what needs to be done moving forward and start looking... placing feelers so players know it's XYZ's club now.

According to some in the press today Parish has a short list of three for the CP head coach role, Howe,Dyce and Cooper, however no action will be taken until the summer to allow Roy to retire with dignity. They go on to say that if we are in a relegation fight that could change. Howe of course is the only one of three currently available of those three and I cannot see SP wanting to pay out any compensation to get Dyce or Cooper ?

Parrish has probably got a preference. But the fact that Howe is free at the moment might be deciding factor.Would imagine parish would prefer to wait until end of season but he might not have much choice after the next two games.

Yep I agree, if we lose tomorrow and then on Saturday it will see us heading free fall in to the relegation battle!

Working on the assumption that Steve Parish feels it is time to act as we are in real danger of relegation, why on earth would some of the names mentioned by drawn to a club which COULD be playing in the Championship next season?

Would Messrs Dyche and Cooper wish to leave their respective clubs in such circumstances, the latter of course being in with a chance of gaining promotion for his own side ? Would Eddie Howe, even though out of work, wish to join with us in that position?

I suspect Steve Parish feeling that he needs a change, a new voice in the dressing room etc might turn internally for an 'Interim' appointment.

What, like Mark Bright you mean?

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I was not thinking of Mark Bright.
There are 2 erstwhile managers on our books at the club in messrs Freedman and Derry.Perhaps Paddy McCarthy also involved.

Wouldn't disagree, but can't help wondering whether they already have a say in what's going on.

Difficult to think that the likes of Derry see what's going on and don't then at least have a word in the chairman's shell like.

Win the next two and we're completely safe, we'll see if the players care about that but if they don't then we'll know everything we need to know about them.

You forgot to include the word "failed" as your post should have read "There are 2 failed managers on our books at the club"

Even our penny pinching chairman wouldn't be stupid enough to hand the reins to either of those two - surely
