It amazes me how there doesnt seem to be massive unrest between management and players considering how the players have been turned into the most dire footballing side in the country in the last 2-3 years. They all seem to just go with it and say the same bollocks in interviews after every game which by the way is always what Hodgson has said in his interviews word for word.Injury this injury that, great defence blah blah. I think they might just be too dumb to think for themselves or just don't care. I'd like to think if one of us was in that team I'd be asking a lot of questions because it must be absolutely horrible playing in a setup like that.

You hate that man?

Calm down and stop being so personal.

Anyway, I'm sure he's scratching his head , wondering why, in all his 45 years in football, he never listened to your advice.

Yes - injuries have decimated the squad.

Yes - he's kept us up for all this time - our longest in the top flight in our history

Yes - he's helped us to survive with, mostly, players that are cheaper but older, since he's been given very, very little to spend.

No to personal insults against a professional who's forgotten more about the game than you or I ever will.

No to the Curbishley Solution.

We are missing 4 key players who make a difference - Zaha, Schlupp, McArthur and Tomkins. Our ageing squad is struggling to cope with the pace of opponents' pressing game. Whose fault is that? Our team out today had no pace. To his credit Andros tried to make things happen and put in some good crosses. Unfortunately, Benteke reverted to type and hid away.

I'm disappointed with the performance but happy we avoided defeat. What the recent performances suggest to me is the dearth of talent in our squad when we aren't at full strength.

Another shocker no shots on goal and only Guaita, Townsend and Cahill played well. Eze strikes me as a poacher with good ball skills in the box. His problem is a lack of pace but if he can stay on side it might work. Most fans now think RH must go although the BBC keep harpen on about his abilities. It is some years and a number of clubs since this has been the case. Without Wilf we would be facing relegation. Where is Tomkins our best defender has started only 4 games this season!

I'm willing to acknowledge that our attack was anemic today, and I'd like to see better. However, I remind myself that Fulham have now allowed only 1 goal in their last five matches. Earlier this month, Fulham held Everton and West Ham to a grand total of 3 shots on target in their two matches, which Fulham won and drew, respectively. Also, Fulham are currently 8th in the league in fewest goals allowed.

I'm not rationalizing our lack of attack. I'm merely saying that a scoreless draw isn't an embarrassing result.

Time to cheer up folks. We’ve taken 4 points form out last 2 games despite having no cutting edge up front. Fulham are playing well and look like they might stay up. If they do then it is quite possible that The Weed will go down instead! Very cloud and all that ....

Do you really think we have 'no cutting edge up front?'

Brighton have no cutting edge up front. 66 shots and 1 goal, or whatever the stat is. It would take us months and months at this rate, to have 66 shots.

Our strikers don't get a sniff. They did incredibly well to score one each mid week.

100% agree Roy is a pragmatist. todays match was poor from an attacking slant but the team spirit and defence has to recognised and applauded

In that game, Ayew & Andros put a cross in for both our goals. Today, Andros put in at least 6 crosses in & only once was anybody near(Tekkers) & even the BBC even said he couldnt be arsed to attack it.

Fortunately I had to go out today. Watched the first 5 minutes and saw poor cross into Benteke. The listened to the rest half on the radio.

The commentary team on the BBC TV and Radio seemed better Sky/BT. Although by half time the radio team were trying to politely hint they were board.

Sounds like the second half was much worse.

Whilst a point at home to Fulham is very disappointing, we have to respect the point. 10 points clear with 12 games to go.

Out of our next 12 games we are only player 3 bottom half teams. West Brom, Sheffield United and Southampton.

We probably need 6 more points to limp over the line with another disappointing season where we have regressed again.

Having said that last seasons run in leaves some room for doubt as to weather or not 6 points are achievable.

We have better players the Brighton and Fulham that carried us over the line. Brighton also have a worse manager than us.

At least we have the end of lockdown to look forward to over the coming months. With any luck, fans won't be allowed back into games.

I wonder if Roy things signing off the end of his career at Anfield will be leaving on a high?

The saddest thing for me is my 11 year old and 8 year old boys slowly becoming disinterested with watching us play.
They were so excited in the past but that excitement is being replaced by boredom and indifference. They arent glory supports (obviously) but I feel the young fans deserve more excitement from our playing style. Even a shot on goal

Agree with this 100%. Fulham came into the game undefeated in their last six away games and with a recent defensive record second only to Man City so I wasn't expecting too much.

We must have the slowest midfield in the division and Eze doesn't have the guile or skill set to play centrally. He's a left sided forward.

I thought Benteke's selection was correct under the circumstances as the ball never stopped coming back in the games Mateta has started and Fulham had a clear threat from set pieces. Not pretty but a six pointer under the circumstances.

We don’t have a worse manager than Brighton. Missing 2 pens and having a perfectly good goal chalked off is not down to Potter.

They play good football, much better than us. If they buy a good striker in the summer, they will finish top half. Maupay not as good as he thinks he is, needs replacing.
