Personally I think Luka is a good passer of the ball, but these days he seems to need or want space and time to pick his passes, which the PL very rarely allows in the current zeitgeist of the high press, meaning he repeatedly gets caught dawdling on the ball. Once Everton started to sit off us more after taking the lead Luka notably improved.

if he continued his form for of his first few seasons he would have gone to a top 6 team. realistically who do you replace him with? He played his best during the cabaye years! all he had to worry about was winning the ball and then pass to cabaye who would dictate play! meaning he would have more energy etc... now he looks tired all the time! just my opinon anyway will always support the players if they are trying even if they play crap! in terms of PVA i like how he plays and is often always involved in our best attacks! we concede anyway so i dont mind him getting forward! last min at old trafford when he got up and scored the winner is pva all over!

Luka is far too slow in possession other teams now target him. I have a bit of sympathy for him at present as he has to make Reidewalds tackles as well as his own. Reidewald is the new Tom Soares spends 90 minutes chasing shadows. Roy should bomb him out and put schlupp in
