It's a disappointing team sheet. Yet again, we've put out a team with no willingness to put a cross into the box.

Schlupp is very unlucky not to make that team, and Eze fortunate on recent performance. I don't see the point in playing PVA given he seems to be leaving and is no better than Mitchell. Luka continues to be lucky, especially with McCarthy back albeit not a huge upgrade.

Hopefully it's a 4-5-1 with Zaha & Ayew trying to stop their wing-backs getting forward, and Eze tucking in. I really hope it isn't Luka and Jairo having Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi pass it around them for 90 minutes as seems to happen every time we get outnumbered in midfield.

We've put out the oldest ever Premier League side. I've made that up but can't be far wrong.

So disappointed with the 11 chosen - Luka and Reidewald cannot hold this midfield together without a 3rd central midfielder along side them - Grrrr!

That team sheet is the definition of beaten before a ball is kicked. Think this could be a hammering tonight.

I think we'll start as a 4-5-1. You would hope Roy has learned his lesson that you can't play 4-4-2 against an in-form team playing 3-5-2, especially when Eze and Ayew are better going forward than defending.

On paper they should whip us, but as the cliché goes, games aren't played on paper (although I am currently thinking my 1-1 draw is now rather optimistic with Leicester at near full strength and our defence once again held together with Blu Tac).

Come on Palace!

To be absolutely honest I am dreading our remaining matches, the enthusiasm is basically turning into deep dread. As usual nothing has or is going to change same old basic boring Hodgson tactics same old faces it’s like a row of Parking meters. really for the life of me cannot understand why Ayew get picked time and time again, why the hell doesn’t Hodgson take the unthinkable opportunity and play Mateta. This kid has got to be thinking what the ***** am I doing here what do I have to do. As for the match sorry to say that Leicester will know exactly how to play us, it won’t be rocket science. My heart would really like to say that we are going to play our best game of the season and a 2:0 win to Palace but realistically I can only see a heavy defeat 3:0 possibly 4:0 to Leicester.

We are ready made for Leicesters high energy pressing game. I bet Maddison is licking his lips with our two plodders patrolling his area of the field. With Roy it is harder to get out of our team than to get in it.

We won't find many positives when the game is in progress AND when it has ended !
