And bang! My face is shut. Maybe Sir Steve would trade for one of Jose’s Champion’s League wins and some money.

As I asserted he is a "Serial winner" with an impressive CV.

You certainly did but we’re only taking hypothetically. It’s more likely Jose would buy out Parrish than be employed by him.

boring ?

To be a manager at the club i love ? not on your nelly.

the only time i want to see him in the Selhurst dogout is wearing a Brighton top, feuding with half his seagull squad and us spanking his Latin ass 5-0.

The worst palace i can ever remember (George Burley) would be better than that Portuguese embarassment.

Would genuinely LOVE Jose at Palace. A match made in heaven, he has always had time and respect for us.

Felt the same when Big Mal arrived in 1973. Huge character, I remain positive about his effect on the club and his legacy - despite the relegations.

Makes Howe, Dyche, Lampard look like pygmies in comparison, imho.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Bayern Munich are looking for a new manager, just saying.

I would love to see Mourinho at Palace as long as he takes the job on the understanding that there is no big kitty.

We could become the team everyone hates, scrappy fighting beating what's left of the big boys and Jose lording it at the press conferences.

Jose needs to be loved to be successful, If fans get on his back then he quickly loses interest.
I think he would get us into Europe.

Would Jose come to Selhurst?

Might he want to build a team from the bottom half of a league with little funding into something special to prove he is again? I really don't know, but if he got his mojo back from an overperforming Palace side he might return to his chippy best. And, we'd love him for it!

Jose's never been good at bringing youngsters through, but he might manage to get another season out of the older members of our squad. He might also attract a few quality players he's managed along the way coming to the end of contracts.

He might also keep Wilf and make him into the player we all hoped he'd become.

All ifs, mights and maybes, I know, but if he could also attract some much-needed investment, he could become our 'Special One'.

But, I doubt if his ego and that of SP would be a match made in heaven!

Mourinho, Dyche, Howe, Lampard, Vieira, Ismael? It would have to be Jose in my books every time.

I really think Big Mal laid the foundations for Venables success. Likewise, to have successive managers with the combined football knowledge of Roy and Jose could surely only be good for the long-term future of the Palace

55 years on the Palace rollercoaster!

You beat me to it - Big Mal reincarnated, though I think we'd go upwards rather than downwards this time, and I think there is a genuine chance of it happening. These are strange times and the fat cats may have miscalculated here, Jose could ride the wave of opposition in a red and blue striped chariot. I'll check the odds - I'd go 10/1 Jose, 2s Howe, 5/2 Dyche, 7/2 Lampard.

A yes from me so long as he brings Diego Costa for a season... to be remembered..
then SP will probably sack him and get Roy back in

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

At this moment in time his managerial stock has fallen. Would he be considered for one of the top European teams - Bayern for example, I don't think so. An international job - maybe, but Portugal's current manager is doing pretty well (Current Euro champions and UEFA nations League champions)

I don't think Palace is such an outrageous suggestion as his next job. London is his home, he lives in a very nice part of West London which he has done since his Chelsea days, I can't see him really wanting to go to another part of England, so it ticks a lot of boxes for both parties.

Anyone who really thinks he will come to Palace is deluded. He would not get out of bed for the sort of money we would offer and a transfer budget of £1 and an old Fluffy toffee.

He can afford to wait as no doubt Spurs will pay up his contract.

Would I want him? Nope the guy is an arrogant walking ego.
