OK finally he should be confirmed between now & Friday but I have had it confirmed to me that Favre is our New Manager.

This may well be jumping the gun (although his Wikipedia page is currently describing him as being in pole position for the Crystal Palace job), but with all the talk about Lucien Favre possibly joining us, it occurred to me that I knew very little about him and wanted to check him out. I found this [Link] on YouTube, but there are other snippets there too. I think we know he was sacked from his last job at Borussia Dortmund following a string of poor results, but in his first year in 2018 he made a cracking start. In his two and a half years there his win rate from 110 games was an impressive 62%. Seems he likes to develop younger players and thrives on an attacking style of play. So, all in all, if Steve is able to pull this off it would be quite a coup and would send a strong message of intent to the rest of the league. In my view a much more exciting prospect for us than any of the other names that have been tossed around. I've only been able to find one interview with him where he speaks in English and it's not brilliant although he appears a more lively character than FdB. It'll improve for sure. Anyway, hope I'm not too eager with this. Just wanted to find out a bit more about him. Waiting with baited breath.
