It increasingly looks like Nuno will join Everton, which being realistic seems a more likely fit. Until he came into the frame I would have been happy with any of the frontrunners, but I must admit that if it was say Cooper who got the job I would now feel a bit underwhelmed. If I'm being honest, I think it's because Nuno looks like a war lord ready to lead his men into battle brandishing his sword and eagle-crested shield, whereas Cooper resembles an extra out of Trainspotting looking to score a bag of H.

If it is to be Cooper, I hope Swansea, have more idea of who to replace him with than we have replacing Roy.
Let’s face it they have a club to run , the year in year out processes are the same for them as for all clubs, and if this is a case of ,will I won’t I by Cooper, even if only to oblige CP, it’s a wonder they don’t kick his arse. If they really would like to keep him ,why stand hopelessly by ,as seems to be the case up to this point in time.?

Bring Roy out of retirement!

Waiting for the 'right' appointment is going to be damaging the longer it goes on.

Players thar are out of contract are going to take what they can get ; Cahill and Dann I think played most games as centre backs and Sahko going too, leaves us short.

Dougie or Ismael, i think, take your pick, both have more experience than Cooper, Got a bad feeling about Cooper, Now if it was Tommy Cooper

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

I have come to the conclusion that Debenhams could appoint a manager quicker than us….

Anyone been appointed manager at Celtic, Everton, Spurs or Wolves yet?

Wolves has (albeit not publicly announced) but your point is sound. A delay is understandable to an extent but the world and his dog knew months ago Roy would not be with us come August. Mind you if an appointment was made on day one then we would have not had a chance for NES. Ancelotti has really thrown a spanner in the works! Mind you if it goes another week without news I will begin to feel anxious.

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

It's not a bad point, however, do any of those teams have half their player's contracts up too? This is starting to seem like a hard slog already, and we've not even started.

I absolutely do not want Cooper.
A one way trip to the lower leagues!
Swansea were clueless in the play off final and he did nothing to change things.
Worse than Roy!
