The issues at Everton are real. In my first post, there is plenty of proof of that. Besides, their problems are now becoming fairly public.

Of course, you have every right to disagree and Everton's financial issues are also short-term. By cutting costs this year and getting their Financial Fair Play house in order, they will return to a position where they can take advantage of Moshiri's personal millions again in the future. But for the next year or two, until they've cleaned up the mess of recent years, their hands are very much tied.

Despite that, I respect your view that Everton may to some still be a more attractive destination than Palace. But that would be a long-term view. It is not true to say that money makes them a more attractive job RIGHT NOW. It doesn't. That's a plain and simple fact.

For a manager attracted to a 5-year plan, Everton probably is the better job. For an older manager who wants to make an impact in the next two years, we offer just as much as they do in my opinion.

Nincompoop? My God, a Palace fan who's meeker than my ex-mother-in-law. She told me I was a dickhead. Have to say though, I disagreed in a way that can't be described as respectful (despite the fact that she was probably right) :-)
