Lampard would of only used it as a stepping stone anyway as soon as another job became available he would of jumped on it.

It is a shame we wont ever find out the real reason why both those managers walked either of them I believe based on records could of been at the club fair amount of time plus moved us to a solid middle table place no problem if backed.

3 years is a long time I could see Dyche hanging around that long but not sure he would get on or put up with SP.

It comes down to no matter who takes over anyway if they are not backed £ or given time it's meaningless this is what worries me we have seen plenty of evidence that SP wont dig into his own pocket and the Americans saved us before with injecting some funds wont do it again.

Frank Lampard won’t get a chance to use us as a stepping down. He will be blessed if he gets a chance to manage in the Premier league again.

The town I live in is predominantly white so what exactly are you suggesting?

Well with all this speculation I'd hope that on this occasion SP and Co have in fact lined up the replacement well in advance for once, as this time the changing of manager has clearly been planned.

Or am I in cloud coo coo land?

That’s what we all think is sensible but Parish will fvck about like an old lady all summer and appoint someone the week before the new season starts.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Yes I Agree with you, I hope it is sign and sealed, I do wonder if there is going to be merry go round of managers changing and losing their jobs in the coming weeks Could the likes of Brighton’s Potter and Southampton’s Hasenhüttl be added to the growing list. Spurs, Wolves, Southampton the latter both owned by foreign investment, all three in a different league to us when it comes to finances. With that in mind apart from Brighton and ourselves our managers position doesn’t look that temping considering what the next manager going to walk into with squad rebuilding. We are then pushed down the pecking order. I honestly cannot see Nuno Espirito Santo coming in I think Levy got his little fingers on him

I'd agree with this if it weren't for the current candidates. As it stands, I hope it hasn't been signed & sealed and they're looking at speaking with someone not currently in contention - Leonardo Jardim would be amazing.

However, if things have been wrapped up with one of the mentioned candidates, Lampard is the best of a very underwhelming bunch.

My punt just a guess no ITK.

I think we have tried for Dyche , Howe and Lampard and for various reasons it has happened. My guess is that we are now going for one of the Championship managers mentioned.

Meanwhile at Spurs Levy still wants Rodgers but if that is not going to happen I reckon he will go for the Wolves manager.

One more point

"Various reasons" or just the same one each time, that we are skint and have very limited funds to replace our pensioners with

Agree, What does Lampard have to lose, we are always the first name on every bodies lips to go down every season so If Lampard did take the reins and fail then, basically it it proved everybody right that Lampard is not cut out to be a manager the Palace haters it’s a case of about time, bye bye Palace it couldn’t happen to a nicer club.
He walks away, Palace in the Championship, he walks into a football pundit job. On the other hand if Lampard succeeded we instantly become more appealing and attractive club on the investment side

Eddie Howe on the other hand you have a different picture a proven Premiership manager basically another relegation is not an option on his CV.

Talksport just said a few minutes ago that Lampard is still the 11/8 favourite despite rumours he's pulled out of the race.

I think the manager hunt is done and will know who it is next week, hopefully it's Eddie Howe.
