There are always rumours circulating around football clubs. And people speculating on those rumours. I venture to suggest that there are a handful of people at Palace that know what's really happening with the Manager's job. And I don't think any of them would be passing that information on. One of my friends is one of Steve Parish's best mates - and he doesn't get so much as a sniff as to what's happening behind the scenes at Palace *

I doubt whether any of these "leaks" come directly from Parish or Freedman but from people on the periphery. There was a post on the BBS this morning from someone whose friend was at the training ground yesterday and spotted Frank Lampard there along with Parish and Mark Bright. This person could have been training ground staff or a building contractor

Whoever takes us forward needs to be able to build a team that we fans can for once in our lives can be excited by. Stop selling class players and build a team around them. Gayle, Wan B sold and Eze will no doubt be next along with Zaha. Yes, Roy should retire gracefully and we thank him. But we've only survived season after season and it's not much fun. Owners get yer wallets out or piss off. The fans pay their way now you do the same.

Only if the current manager and players were there at the same time which they probably weren't. In any event only an incredibly stupid chairman wouldn't know whether the existing manager is staying or going at the end of the season and whilst Parish may be many things he isn't stupid so Roy's future status will already be known to both parties although I have no idea why it hasn't been announced
