The weakest part of our team is centre back. It has cost us again tonight. Kouyate the first and Dann showing Iheanacho inside for the 2nd. We need to buy two.

The one positive from tonight is that we now only have another 6 games to endure Hodgson-ball.

Realistically we're not going to get anything from a game Dann starts. Regardless of the manager he can't be left 1 on 1 with anyone and we're not good enough either side of him to cover his shortfalls.

The biggest rebuilding job this summer is the defence and the centre mids. Unfortunately, that's half the team, but it is troubled. At least most of them and their huge wages can be out the door.

Dann in the twilight of his career and well past his best, the same for Ward who was absolutely abysmal.
Indeed replacements needed in central defence and certainly at right-back, in fact across the pitch.

With his experience as a manager, how could Roy H. put on McCarthy when we needed to score?
Think his substitutions will be part of exit Hodgson - hopefully after this season.

Games hinge on big moments in each penalty area and Riedewald and Benteke fvcked up. Should have taken at least a point.

Why Riedewald is looking for a pass when he’s one on one with the keeper only he knows. Benteke had two decent headed chances one gilt edged.

We have a capable centre back warming the bench in Kelly, but the dinosaur carries on playing a midfielder there no matter what.

Leicester were always going to cause us problems at the back, but when we went 2-1 down it showed why Roy needs to go. We have nothing to lose so why bring on McCarthy? Schlupp is arguably an attacking sub, but what was Roy's thinking? He is so slow to react that I swear he wakes up three days after the game ends and tries to bring an attacker on. Good for 45 minutes and same old second half.

I'm not annoyed about losing to Leicester just the management of the game

He froze in front of goal. The opportunity fell to the wrong player.
Riedewald always fades in games.

It wasn't a poor performance. We had a bright spell after we conceedee. They reacted by bringing on two subs in the 70th minute. We didn't react to it until the 83rd minutes.

Very disappointed Riederwald didn’t have the guts to have a shot 1 on 1 with keeper but he’s got form with that. Show some confidence man!
I thought Benteke was our heavy legged player until I saw Scott Dann. Blimey what a pair!

Very disappointed we didn’t get draw.

Totally agree... Hodgson must really not rate Kelly in the slightest as he continues to play a centre midfielder as a centre half and Dann who, as much as I love him has not been premier league standard for quite some time.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

As an aside, how much are we missing James McArthur right now?
